Unconventional Kinds Of Information Products That You Could Prepare For Your Online Business

By now you should know the importance of digital delivery. Being able to deliver your products digitally would allow you to be free from the worries of shipping charges and storage space. Additionally, your customers would feel more reassured as they would get what they will pay for as soon as they pay for them.

Information products like eBooks and special reports are the usual items up for sale in most internet marketing ventures. But these are not the only kinds of information products which you could sell. There are others, of course, which may require a little more skills to create but would prove very rewarding nonetheless.

Let’s take a look at other information products which you could prepare.

Video Products

Since a good number of your prospective customers are people who connect to the internet via T1, cable or DSL, delivering bigger files has become less of an issue these days compared to how they were two or three years ago. Only a few internet marketers offer video products these days, so there is a sizable market for you to exploit.

Video products may come in the form of tutorials, web documentaries, or even entertainment. You could use the conventional way of filming your subjects via a digital camcorder and editing the same to be presentable enough for sale via a variety of video editing software available in the market today. Or if you’re planning on presenting web tutorials, you could simply download any screen capture device and use your mouse cursor as a pointer to guide your viewers through the subject of the course. In which case, you could also download any sound recording device to complement such a video with audio lessons.

There is that chance that your customers could only access the internet through a 56k modem. You could choose to divide the video file into smaller files, and label them appropriately, so that your customers could download them in manageable batches.

Audio Products

Audio products are quite easy to prepare. There are a lot of audio recording devices available for download, some better than others. What you really need is a clear script of the things you want to say. A lot of matters may get lost in audio form, so it is very vital that your script would incorporate everything that you want to say, in a manner that would be clear to understand.

Also, the format you wish to make available is an essential concern as well. Try to aim for an mp3 file format to make the recording more compressed for easy download. Better yet, using RSS 2.0 technology, you could create what they call a podcast, that is, downloadable audio for iPods and some RSS readers. This is an amazing file format, as you could record hours upon hours of audio without worrying about file size.

Podcasting would also allow your visitors to download the audio files you have prepared, so that they could listen to them later on. With the growing popularity of portable media devices like the Apple iPod and other mp3 players, downloading podcasts have likewise become popular. People would want to listen to something while they’re stuck in traffic or while they’re waiting for their flight. This is the opening you need to target a specific need.

Other Products

The thing with unconventional information products is that there is no limit as to what form they could take. Your creativity and imagination are free to play in this field, and it’s all up to you. Just make sure that the products you would come up with are capable of convenient digital delivery, and you’re all set to go.

The best cure for procrastination - Your vision

Tuesday 4 September 2007 @ 10:51 pm

Have you discovered your purpose in life? Do you have long-term goals? Finding and focusing on your long-term goals is a powerful cure for procrastination. A vision is simply a statement of what you want to achieve in life, and how you plan to achieve it. Without a vision, it’s easy to fall into a lifestyle of procrastination. And without a clear statement of your vision, you’re more likely to give up on projects in the face of difficulties.

If you haven’t written your vision, you need to make this your No. 1 priority. Your goals and your attention will shift from one project to the next, year after year, if you don’t have a vision to guide you.

  • Make a written list of your lifetime goals. Wishing won’t make it happen-writing down a goal is the first action you can take to conquer procrastination. One research study discovered that people who write down their goals earn ten times more than people who don’t. You may think you have a goal, but if you haven’t written it down, research suggests your chances of accomplishing it are small.

  • Break down your long-term goals into measurable tasks. This is the only way you can stay focused enough to keep moving toward your long-term goals. Without a series of clearly-defined milestones to measure your progress, you can delude yourself into thinking that you’re moving toward a goal when in fact you haven’t taken the first step yet. Do you constantly miss deadlines? Do you make up reasons to justify why you didn’t finish an important task, rather than tackling it and getting it done? Are you sincere enough to recognize the real reason why you missed your deadline? Do you have a written plan of attack for finishing the job without further delay?

  • Perfectionism is one of the main causes of procrastination. Recognize the difference between striving for excellence and getting stuck in a vicious circle of perfectionism. Ask yourself what type of work demands perfectionism. If the job you’re doing is not the type that requires perfectionism, then remember that your goal must be excellence rather than perfection.

  • Always keep a journal or idea book with you. Use spare time to jot down ideas about how you plan to attack your next goal. When you’re working on one project, what do you do when you get random ideas about other things? Do you write them down? Writing is a great way to use spare time and unleash your creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Don’t worry about spelling or grammar-just get your thoughts down as quickly as you can. If you need to show what you’ve written to someone else, you can revise it later.

Remind yourself that every task you face today is part of a divine plan for your life. “There is a divinity that shapes our ends, rough-hew them how we will,” Shakespeare wrote. You were created to accomplish more than you think you can-do some “rough hewing” on your life’s goals today.

Master Stock Trader Mark Crisp

Tuesday 4 September 2007 @ 12:03 pm

I am a 36 year old guy whos passion for the stock market and business has lead him to create the Stress Free Momentum Trading System.

Been trading stocks since the early 90’s and online since 1999. Loving every minute of it. I “work” a maximum of 3 hours a day. Most of that is on my web business. Stock trading takes about 10 minutes a week.

I trade momentum stocks on a weekly basis. Using my checklist and follow my stocks. I catch some of the biggest moves in the stock market. By watching price and volume. It’s all there.

Forget expensive technical trading systems. You do not need them. Simplicity is the key to big profits.

Most people now focus on short-term, day trading methods. Jumping form stocks to futures to FX. It takes time to learn stock trading. Stick to one method. Go longer in time frame and I promise you will make more money with much less stress than those frantic short-term traders.

Life’s too short to watch the stock quote machine all day.

I offer quite a few free books, reports and software. So go along to my site and sign up and see what I have to say every week. (once a week)

“The Secret”

Tuesday 4 September 2007 @ 11:30 am

By Dinna Chan Vasquez When everything seems to go wrong in your life and you seem to hit bad luck at every turn, it is your fault. You are the only one who can create the life you deserve.

When Oprah Winfrey devotes an episode of her highly rated talk show to present the “secret” to making more money, losing weight, finding the love of your life and achieving job success, you can be sure the world will sit up and listen.

Oprah’s voiceover on her show says, “It’s the show everyone’s talking about.” And she was right.

The show was so talked about that the producers decided to devote a second episode to it—which doesn’t happen often, even on Oprah.

So what’s the secret to a successful and prosperous life? It’s called The Secret.

The Secret is the creation of Rhonda Byrne, an Australian television writer and producer, who conceived the book at one of the lowest points in her life.

“My life had collapsed around me. I’ve worked myself into exhaustion. My father died suddenly. And my relationships were in turmoil. Little did I know at the time, out of my greatest despair, was to come the greatest gift,” she says in the film’s intro.

After doing a lot of research and talking to several motivational speakers and resource persons, she decided to compile what she had learned into a film documentary. The film caught on among the American public, eventually gaining the attention of such celebrities as Ellen DeGeneres, Larry King, Conan O’Brien, and Oprah.

The film became so popular, it spawned a book, a DVD and several online sites.

The law of attraction

What is The Secret? It is, by simple definition, a self-help film about the law of attraction. Byrne interviewed personal transformation specialists, spiritual messengers, feng shui masters, and money-making experts to reinforce her premise that people’s feelings and thoughts attract real events in the world into their lives.

But to those who have read the book and say it changed their lives, it is so much more than that.

There is really nothing new about the principles presented in The Secret. It is all about positive thinking and attracting energy so that the universe will give us everything we want.

The book has 29 contributors that Byrne quotes extensively. These include Bob Proctor, philosopher, author and personal coach; Dr. Joe Vitale, metaphysician, marketing specialist and author; John Assaraf, entrepreneur and money-making expert; Dr. John Dimartini, philosopher, chiropractor and personal transformation specialist; Dr. Deni Waitley, psychologist and trainer in the field of mind potential; Michael Bernard Beckwith, visionary and founder of Agape International Spiritual Center; and Jack Canfield, teacher, life coach, motivational speaker, and author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.

The Secret is saying that every one of us gets what we want. So if your mind is full of negative thoughts, bad things will happen but if you are full of positive energy, you could be rich and successful and thin and well loved.

“Everything that’s coming into your life, you are attracting into your life. And it’s attracted to you by virtue of the images you hold in your mind. It’s what you’re thinking. Whatever is going on in your mind you are attracting to you,” says philosopher Bob Proctor, one of the resource persons interviewed.

The Secret espouses the belief that everything is energy and that every person is an energy magnet. This means that you “electrically energize” yourself to everything you want.

“Thoughts become things,” writer Bob Dooley summarizes the basic principle behind the law of attraction, one of the greatest laws of the universe.

“Our job as humans is to hold on to the thought of what we want. Make it absolutely clear in our minds what we want, and from that we start to invoke one of the greatest laws of the universe, the law of attraction,” says Assaraf, a money-making expert. “What most people don’t understand is that thought has a frequency. Every thought has a frequency. We can measure a thought. So if you’re thinking that thought over and over again, or if you’re imagining in your mind having that brand-new car, having the money that you need, building that company and finding your soulmate… if you imagine what that looks like, you’re admitting that frequency on a consistent basis.”

It works!

Cecile Zamora van Straten, a designer and newspaper columnist, first heard about The Secret from a friend who told her that it can get you whatever you want, “even if you’re wishing for something as shallow as a Louis Vuitton handbag.”

And Van Straten did want a Louis Vuitton handbag. She wished for it and she got it even when there was a very long wait list for it (an accident put her name at the top of the list) and didn’t have the funds for it (the money came up all of a sudden).

“I learned that you attract things to yourself, whether positive or negative,” says Van Straten.

Byrne restates the law of attraction in various ways:

You get to fill the blackboard of your life with whatever you want.

Your current reality or your current life is the result of thoughts you have been thinking.

Nothing can come into your experience unless you summon it through persistent thoughts.

Like Aladdin’s Genie, the law of attraction grants our every command.

The Secret gives an iron-clad promise that the law of attraction will give you “unlimited joy, health, money, relationships, love, youth: everything you have ever wanted.”

Van Straten admits that the principles offered by The Secret could be in conflict with people’s religious beliefs.

“It promotes materialism and says that the power is within you to get whatever you want. I still believe in combining both positive thinking and praying for the will of God so that you will get only what is OK with God. Remember, more tears were shed with answered prayers than unanswered. God’s will is still number one,” she says.
